The museum dedicated to video-art pioneer Nam June Paik in Yongin — Kirsten Schemel's curving, glass-and-black building set into a wooded slope.

Opened in 2008 after an international competition won by Berlin architect Kirsten Schemel, the Nam June Paik Art Center holds the largest collection of the artist's work. Its curving plan follows the hillside, with a glazed front and dark folded walls.
