Chae-Pereira's white, knot-like museum for painter Chang Ucchin in the Yangju hills — a folded plan inspired by his playful paintings of houses and animals.

Opened in 2014 after a 2010 competition, the Chang Ucchin Museum by Chae-Pereira Architects houses the work of modern painter Chang Ucchin. Its white, looping plan of interconnected rooms and courtyards takes cues from the house motifs and folk tales in his paintings.
